We are all facing difficult times. New variants of the COVID-19 virus, changing data on infection rates and uneasiness about what to do next. Your Board has been wrestling with all of these difficult issues and more. What are the criteria/data/conditions that would make in-person services safe? What are our primary concerns?

In evaluating all of these issues, the Board has made the decision that our reopening should be based on measurable data/benchmarks. Our primary concern is the health and safety of our members. Current conditions are not favorable for in-person services.

The Board will continue to monitor local data and conditions. We will be mindful of guidance from the CDC and the Austin-Travis County COVID-19 Risk-based Guidelines. Until it is healthy and safe for us to gather in person we will hold our worship services (including High Holy Days and other events) via Zoom.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we stand together during these uncertain times.
