Friday Shabbat Services
Our Friday night Shabbat services are held on the first or second Friday of every month beginning at 7:00pm. Rabbi Rebecca Reice leads our joyful service, engaging the congregation in prayer, song, spiritual reflection, and readings. Group participation is encouraged as we read together from the Reform Prayer book ‘Mishkan T'filah’, sing songs together, and pray together (whether in silent prayer/meditation or in lifting our voices together). Both English and Hebrew blessings are included, and every Hebrew word is transliterated so even non-Hebrew readers can fully participate.
An Oneg follows our Friday night Shabbat services, allowing time for socializing, fellowship, enjoying a nosh, and building community. Congregation Shir Ami Shabbat services & Onegs are warm, welcoming, and open to all. We hope to see you there!

Please join us for T'filah Together, Congregation Shir Ami's Tot Shabbat program for families with kiddos up to the age of eight years old. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 9am where Rabbi Rebecca Reice will lead a Shabbat program specifically geared for kids and their families. This will include age-appropriate songs, prayers, and a PJ Library story. -
